Nebraska Student Journalist of the Year
If you have seniors preparing their Journalist of the Year portfolios, please remind them that the deadline is Feb. 15 at the state level.

The portfolio itself should be in electronic form – a wordpress site is a good avenue for that – and it should follow all the national criteria found at:

The scoring rubric used at the national level will be the same one we use here in Nebraska to determine our winner.
The Nebraska winner will also earn a $500 scholarship check from NHSPA.
