Omaha Burke Adviser (and NHSPA Board Member) Angela Wolfe has earned her CJE (Certified Journalism Educator) and was recognized at the JEA/NSPA Adviser Awards Luncheon in Dallas! Congratulations also to retired adviser Bob Bair, our JEA Mentor from Blair, who was recognized for renewing his MJE (Master Journalism Educator) certification.
Giant Congratulations to Mark Hilburn (also NHSPA Board Member) and his yearbook staff at Millard West for earning a BEST OF SHOW in Dallas in the large yearbook category for their 2017 Yearbook. Best of Show recognized only publication staffs that have a presence at the national convention.
The finalists in the 2017 NSPA Design/Story/Photo of the Year Contests were also named in Dallas. Nebraska publications were shown on the big screens and secured the national spotlight for a few seconds. These were from entries submitted in early June to the NSPA Contest. Congratulations to:
